Having a lousy day. Full of stress. It’s all going wrong.
So, distracted myself by trying to find out how conceptual artists make money, because I have a theory (which I’ll explore in my dissertation about J. Peterman’s Owner’s Manual) which is while the art is enjoyment of the idea, you still have to sell a souvenir in order to make any kind of living with your conceptualness.
Enter Jenny Holzer, stage right.
