Secret Super Powers

During my fearless forays into the very jaws of the Google Images jungle this afternoon (without even eating so much as a sandwich) I came across this genius colouring book from 1962: The JFK Coloring Book.

Oh, this makes me so happy!

Given the mad insane popularity of “Adult” colouring books at the moment (Treats obesity, insomnia, work-induced stress, and even maladies stemming from female hysteria such as marital disappointment!) I thought that a colouring page would be a GREAT idea for my marketing assignment for today.

But… DILEMMA!

I want some corny typography. I want the word “Activity” in my title to be in a wacky, zany handwriting or scribble sort of font.

I have a scribble font downloaded already. But it looks rubbish. At all sizes.

Then I remember: I am a graphic designer!

[Cue: Heroic music]

I rummage through my superhero underpants worn over my trousers and pull out a biro, some scratch paper and a high resolution scanner.

I can make my own scribble lettering!

Okay, it still looks rubbish. But I have the skills to make it less rubbish should I so choose.

And that, boys and girls, is my superpower.
